Tremor + Micaela Chauque
Tremor is a pioneer project in experimentation with Argentine folklore music and digital production techniques. Electro-tribal malambos, glitch chacareras, sachas with gypsy melodies, and even IDM huaynos are nicknames that some of Tremor’s music could have. Leonardo Martinelli, (in production, guitar, charango and various other instruments) together with Gerardo Farez (keyboards and melodica) and Camilo Carabajal (bass drum) are members. With their energetic live show they have toured Europe and the United States and Canada, Brazil, Colombia and Chile.
Micaela Chauque is part of the new generation of musicians that breaks into popular music in this new millennium. She´s a singer, aerophonist, composer and has a degree in Argentine Folklore. He currently resides and produces his music in Tilcara (Jujuy). He made presentations at national festivals. Her album Jallalla received the 2019 Gardel Award for Best Female Artist Folklore Album. Micaela Chauque is currently recognized as an international NOA folklore artist.
