Tropikal Ravers – We Are EP

English

El Remolón & Chamigo Hugkleson present their last electronic experimentation in which they mix the classical sounds of house and techno with the energy of Latin rhythms.

The live set is played with a TR-808 drum machine, a TB-303 baseline sequencer, a voice processor and various analog synths creating a tropical acid house with rhythms that go from cumbia grooves to the power of Argentinian cuarteto or the dembow of dancehall. A music that creates a space of pure dance and uncontrolled energy.
The particularity of this project is that everything is generated live, creating loops in real time and playing with the clichés from acid house, rave culture and the “tropical”.
The set is accompanied with images designed by the VJ Mati Bianchi that takes elements of glitched elements of neon, 90s rave and tropical motives.
